Challenges
Brielle was sent to Edmonton on Nov 8/12 via medivac. She had obstructed bowels, UTI and fluid in one of her lungs. The fluid in her lung has since been questioned but not confirmed or denied. Currently the goal is to clear her out and her body functioning in an appropriate manner. While she is in Edmonton she will be having a barium swallow, MRI, and cardio exam. They have already discovered that at least one of her reconstructive surgeries done in Vietnam will have to be redone. She has an amazing disposition.... HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY through it all. She's a bottomless pit and eats everything she can get her hands on however she is not keeping it down. This is another thing that the barium swallow will show us... Why this is happening. Her trachea and esophagus were also repaired in Vietnam whether it was a good job or not is another story. Brielle is in amazing spirits. She and I bonded from the second day she was with me. She's amazing and our relationship as mother and daughter becomes more cemented through even all this medical stuff. Right now we have this great nurse her name is AMBER she's friendly and works hard and she has built a nice bond with Brielle. Anyway, I will keep my blog updated for further news. No tests to be done until tueday because if the long weekend. I will add some photos from the start to current.
