Pinch me.. Somebody,please!! Let's start at the airport...ok, I would make a great vietnamese. The key is to be pushy but not take offense. I realized that when people started cutting in front of me at customs. I thought no way am I going to be a pansy and take this so I started getting on some of the assertiveness too ( not that I lack in that area...lol). My shuttle met me at the airport with an ice cold bottle of water and wet napkins ( packaged) cause its unbelievably humid. Then I got to the hotel to find this diamond just plunked in the middle of dilapidated buildings and crazy streets. A beautiful hotel!!! More surprises in store they upgraded me to a 3 bedroom apartment and because I'm good at bartering I was able to swing a great deal on wifi in my apartment. To shower I have to flick a switch for hot water and wait 10 minutes, the rooms are huge beautiful flooring in all, 2 full bathrooms that are just beautiful( to me anyway). Full kitchen with all amnesties and washer and dryer. the front desk service was amazing. They would not allow me to carry my bags...AT ALL!!
Well in couple of hours I need to be up and getting ready for my first BIG meet!! I'm nervous and still can't imagine what it will be like to see her in person for the first time. Anyway, here's your update mom :)
