Crossing the street

This may sound odd to Canadians, but I crossed the street successfully today, all by myself.. Lol. As Brett, Janice and Mary know Vietnam is unique when it comes to crossing the streets. I took Brielle to a new shop across the street, like a dollar store, and everything was WOW to her.. She picked out a special ponytail elastic and a bouncy ball that lights up and I bought her a bib and pencil bag for her crayons. It was like being in a magical shop for her. I didn't have quite enough dong so I had to manage my way across the street to the ATM and was successful with crossing the street again AND WITHDRAWING dong!! Imagine how I felt.. Lol!!
So our next adventure is this afternoon
As we make our way over to the Canadian consulate to apply for Brielle's Canadian Passport.
Then tonight I wanna try to head over to the market, now that I am able to cross the street without getting run over and buy some food for my bottomless pit also known as Brielle Giesbrecht...:)
